Madison County Fire and Rescue holds fire prevention open house

Leah Androski reporter@greenepublishing.com The Madison County Fire and Rescue (MCFR) will host a Fire Prevention Open House on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. until noon at Station One, located at 1314 W Base St., in Madison. Kids will have the opportunity to meet local firefighters, EMT’s and paramedics. They can climb and explore fire trucks, tankers and ambulances. At this event, you will also be able to learn how to put out fires with a fire extinguisher and receive free coloring
