Despite recent hurricanes and other inclement weather, the Madison County High School (MCHS) golf team plays on through their season. On Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Madison County Country Club, the Cowboys lost a match to Branford High School. The team total score for the Cowboys was 186, while Branford shot a 181.
The Cowboys rebounded by winning a match against North Florida Christian on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Madison County Country Club. The Cowboys shot a 191 while North Florida Christian shot a 210. The low score for the Cowboys was Payton Davis, who shot a 44.
The next match for the Cowboys will be on Thursday, Sept. 22 at the Madison County Country Club against the Bulldogs of Suwannee County High School. That match is scheduled to tee off at 3:30 p.m.
