The July 18 Business After Hours was held last week at the Madison County Memorial Hospital (MCMH), located at 224 NW Crane Ave., in Madison.
Friends, community leaders, business owners/employees, chamber members and hospital board members all gathered together to enjoy good food, fun and fellowship. Hors d’oeuvres of chicken salad puff pastries, a variety of fruit and petit fours was served to all guests, along with lemonade and bottles of water.
MCMH has been serving the families of Madison County 24 hours a day, seven days a week, since 1937. It is one of only 13 hospitals in Florida designated as a Critical Access Hospital (CAH). MCMH has 25 private patient rooms and provides several outpatient services. The hospital specializes in taking care of the healthcare needs of the entire family.
MCMH’s Chief Executive Officer is Tammy Stevens, the Chief Financial Officer is Patrick McGee, the Chief Nursing Officer is Cynthia Coulter, and the Human Resource Officer is Cindi Burnett. Together, with all of the skilled staff members, they take great satisfaction in assuring professional care with a personal touch so that they can provide a place for you that feels like home; a place where your family will feel relaxed and cared for.
The next Business After Hours will be held at Schoelles and Associates on Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and socialize with friends while enjoying delicious finger foods and drinks. Schoelles and Associates is located at 439 SW Range St., in Madison.
The Madison County Chamber of Commerce began holding these monthly Business After Hours events in hopes to help promote and ensure the advancement of the local community, via a pro-business climate. They are held on the third Tuesday of each month at the office location of a Chamber member. It’s an opportunity for Chamber members to form relationships, which strengthen community bonds; because people do business with people they know.
So, mark your calendar for Tuesday, Aug. 15 and be sure to join your friends and neighbors at Schoelles and Associates from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given.
“Business After Hours” events are free and open to the public, especially Chamber members.
