Madison Fire Department offers free smoke alarms

Leah Androski reporter@greenepublishing.com The Madison Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross and supplies Madison County residents with free smoke alarms for their homes.  “Since January, the Madison Fire Department has provided 56 homes with smoke alarms,” stated Madison Fire Department Chief Bruce Jordan. In these 56 homes, approximately 100 smoke alarms have been installed. The Madison Fire Department mostly provides these free smoke alarms to city residents
