On Saturday, Nov. 19, the University of Florida (UF) class, under the direction of Professor Martha Kohen, will showcase their outdoor recreation renderings and models as part of the City's Year 2 Competitive Florida planning grant from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. To provide access to the greatest number of stakeholders and Madison residents, the showcase will be held in downtown Madison, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
The UF class will set up their work in the lot immediately next to Madison Antiques & Interiors, located at 197 SW Range (corner of Range and Rutledge) in Madison, and in case of a weather event, the showcase will be moved to the Main Street Playhouse, located at 186 SW Range Avenue in Madison.
Madison residents are invited to experience the creative efforts of this outstanding UF team of students. The goal of this project is to "think outside the box," and consider new ideas for generating economic growth in Madison's recreation sector.
