Margaret Ann Brown Miller, age 66, of Cherry Lake, died Saturday May 7.
Margaret was born April 14, 1950 to Kenneth and Wanda Brown.
Margaret moved to Willow Springs, Mo. in 1978 and worked the Brown Shoe Factory for several years before taking up work at Huffman Kennels. After leaving the Kennels, Margaret sought and obtained her certificate in welding. She became a passionate and very well respected welder for DRS Technologies in West Plains, Mo. for over 20 years. Margaret was active in the Welder’s Union at DRS and was very proud of her work on military equipment that was instrumental to the ongoing military efforts in the Middle East.
She also enjoyed attending church functions in Pomona, Mo., as well as attending Harmony Baptist in Cherry Lake with her friends and family.
Margaret’s door was always open.
She loved having visitors and cooking or baking the favorite dish of whichever friend or family member was visiting her.
Surviving Margaret are her three children: Ken Sevor of Dora, Mo.; Evans (Ashley) Sevor of Cherry Lake and Amy (John) Clark of Rosharon, Tx.
She is also survived by two brothers, Walter (Debbie) Brown of O’Brien Fl. and Edward (Cindy) Brown of Cherry Lake.
Finally, Margaret is survived by her eight grandchildren as well as by two great-grandchildren.
She is proceded in death by her father, Kenneth Brown; mother, Wanda Brown; infant brother, William; husband, Jerry Miller and infant granddaughter, Abby Sevor.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 550 Boggy Bay Rd. in Greenville at 5 p.m.
