Stephanie Thigpen, a Madison County local who has been fighting hard against brain cancer since 2011, has taken the community by storm as various businesses, individuals and groups in Madison County have rallied around Stephanie, Bryant, Tripp and Brynlee.
Yet again, members of the community are coming together to provide a fundraiser for the Thigpen family in the form of a raffle of massive proportions.
Inquiring parties can purchase raffle tickets for $5 in order to put their name in the pot to take a chance at winning one of 36 prizes.
With items such as 50 lbs. of fresh shrimp, a $100 Visa gift card, 12 daylilies, a truckload each of potting soil/woodchip mulch and much, much more, the raffle is filled with promising prizes.
The winners of the drawing will be announced at the Main Street Playhouse and Event Center, which is located at 172 SW Range Ave., at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 10. Entertainment will be provided.
Tickets can be purchased at Ace Hardware, located at 783 W. Base St., in Madison, and the Hardee Law Firm, located at 170 SW Pinckney St., in Madison.
