Madison Mayor/Commissioner Ina Thompson will hold a community meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 26, at Madison City Hall located at 321 Southwest Rutledge Street. Thompson represents District 2. The district stretches from NW Anhinga Lane in the north to Macon Street in the south and from approximately Martin Luther King Jr., Drive in the west to Horry Avenue in the east. Residents and business owners from the city’s other four voting districts are welcome to attend. Their comments and concerns will be provided to their respective city commissioners. Attending the meeting will be City Manager Tim Bennett, Fire/Rescue Chief Bruce Jordan, and Interim Police Chief Willie McGhee.
