On Thursday, Nov. 9, eighth grade students from Mrs. Browning's class at Madison Creative Arts Academy (MCAA) made a trip to Gainesville to experience six live theatre plays. Play scripts ranged from Mark Twain to Edgar Allen Poe. When asked what she hoped her students gained, Mrs. Browning said, “an appreciation for classic literature and live performance.” The theatre plays were performed by a traveling company, Chamber Theatre Productions. Mrs. Browning takes her class every year to Gainesville to experience live theatre such as that provided by Chamber Theatre Productions.
