Madison County Central School (MCCS) will be holding a shoe donation drop-off to raise funds for their Lady Broncos Softball team from now until Saturday, Feb. 8.
MCCS asks for any gently worn, used and new shoes to be donated. Shoes that have damaged or broken heels, soles or buckles, mismatched pairs or are wet or moldy will not be accepted. It is encouraged to not use any black, white or colored bags. MCCS also asks that you do not use rubber bands to close the bags of donated shoes.
When you donate shoes, MCCS asks that the shoes should be paired together with rubber rands or tied together by the laces. In every bag, there should be a max of 25 pairs of shoes, with the bag being tied shut. Only clear bags of shoes will be accepted. The shoes also need to be dry and clean. All shoes will be given to someone in need.
