The Madison McDonald’s, located on 6375 South State Road 53, held their Grand Reopening on Thursday, April 6 at 11 am.
Renovation of the Madison McDonald’s began in February to renovate the restaurant and lobby décor. The final touches were completed on Friday, March 17. David and Mary Jane Costa, owners, chose to go with the Route 66 package because the restaurant is close to the interstate. This décor includes a large, yellow art figure hanging from the ceiling that resembles melted cheese and adds a fresh pop of color to the lobby. Costa said now that renovations are complete, they will focus on speed of operations, remote orders and eventually deliveries. Corporate gave a huge basket of goodies to Courtney Straughter, Manager, to share with the employees. Jennifer Poore, executive director of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce won the drawing for a big basket of goodies compliments of Costa Enterprise.
Straughter said he is excited about the changes and hopes to see more local people visiting the establishment.
After the ribbon cutting, guests were treated to cake and beverages, compliments of the owners.
