Members of the Madison County Fire Rescue (MCFR) made a stop at Greenville Elementary School on Thursday, Oct. 1, just before National Fire Prevention Week. MCFR conducted fire safety activities with the students, providing them with valuable information regarding the need for safety around fire. During the event, students learned how to crawl low in a smoke event, and the stop-drop-roll technique. The students also met a full-suited firefighter. [Jason Matchett/Courtesy]
