Rick Patrick rick@greenepublishing.com On Friday, Jan. 6, the Madison County High School(MCHS) Beta Club sold chicken and rice dinners on the Madison County Courthouse lawn. This was a fundraising effort for the club to raise money for their upcoming trip to the state convention in Orlando and the national convention, in Lexington, Ky. The students were able to serve many dinners and obviously had a great deal of fun doing so. According to the club's sponsor, Susanne Griffin, the club raised approximately$1,600.
