Madison County High School hosted its Junior-Senior Prom on Saturday, April 11, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Students enjoyed a night filled with great music and beautiful decorations in the theme of “Masquerade.” The prom committee worked very hard to organize the event; its members included Kaitlyn Farnell, Junior Class President; Myasia Arnold, Junior Class Vice President; Faith Siplin and Meghan Plain. Prom organizers included Mike Radel, Melissa Stewart, Brigitte Gudz, Andrea Krell, Donn Smith and Clarence Fead. Mrs. Gudz painted a beautiful mural for the back wall of the gym and Mr. Smith's art students created some of the decorations used. Overall the event was a huge success and the Madison County High School Junior and Senior classes enjoyed a night they will never forget. The prom committee and coordinators would like to thank those who went above and beyond to make the 2015 Prom a success. They include: Merv Matair, who donated his time and equipment to DJ the prom; Jo Ann Bridges Academy participated in the Coke Fundraiser and placed a large order which helped greatly; Junior class parents; Davis Marketing Group of Tallahassee; Robin Smith and Denise Clayton for their generous contributions.
