The Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) recently announced another upcoming date for Teen Driver Challenge. Teen Driver Challenge will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the North Florida College (NFC) public safety driving range.
The Teen Driver Challenge classes will be taught by active members of the MCSO who are certified driving instructors and will involve: classroom instruction, driving exercises, test and certificate of completion and traffic stop interaction. Lunch will be provided.
The challenge course skills will include: serpentine, figure eight, evasive driving, vehicle slide recovery, intersection and safe recovery from leaving the road.
Applications are available through school resource deputies, select school officials, at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and by visiting online at www.madisonflsheriff.org.
