MCSO holds second Women’s Self-Defense Class

Leah Androski reporter@greenepublishing.com Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) hosted a second Women’s Self-Defense Class on Saturday, June 8. Undersheriff Chris Andrews and Captain Jarrod Lauth taught the class and gave helpful tips to prevent an attack and methods to defend yourself. Participants were shown how to recognize potential threats and dangerous situations before they escalate. Participants also practiced defensive punches, elbow strikes, kicks and escape techniques.
