The recent flooding in Louisiana is easily the worst to hit that state since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. There have been at least 13 deaths and millions of dollars in damage; thousands of people have lost their homes and the tragedy continues. One local organization has answered the call and is seeking volunteers who are willing to help.
The Middle Florida Baptist Association is looking to partner with other organizations to help the devastated homeowners of Louisiana as they start the difficult process of rebuilding their lives. Middle Florida Baptist Association Disaster Relief Representative, J. D. James is asking people to prayerfully consider helping the people of Louisiana who are once again in desperate need of help.
If you can help, or would like to volunteer, please call the Middle Florida Baptist Association at (850) 973-8607 or e-mail them at mfba@embarqmail.com
