Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic (TOC), a recognized leader in orthopedic care, is pleased to announce new strategic leadership in the North Florida and South Georgia region.
Michael Boblitz joined TOC in the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Sept. 1, 2021. As CEO, Boblitz is responsible for providing leadership, strategic vision and for directing the overall management, operations and future growth of Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic.
“We are excited to have Michael Boblitz joining the TOC team,” said D. Jason Oberste, MD, TOC Managing Physician Partner. "With his extensive leadership in healthcare, we are confident he is the right choice to lead TOC to new levels of growth and success.”
Boblitz has over 20 years of extensive healthcare leadership experience. Prior to his most recent role as CEO for Reagan Medical Center, Boblitz had dedicated most of his career to leading strategy and business development for several of the top healthcare organizations in the US, including Johns Hopkins Medicine.
“I am honored and grateful to lead Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic. TOC has always been at the forefront of innovation and excellence in orthopedic care. To be a part of an organization whose physicians are widely recognized for their exceptional treatment and care of their patients, it’s a terrific opportunity that any leader would welcome.”
Boblitz was raised in Charlottesville, Va., and received his Health Administration degree from James Madison University, and his Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Having grown up in an orthopedic family at the University of Virginia, Boblitz feels joining the TOC team is bringing him full circle.
