Moniqueca Channell Webb, 37, of Delray Beach, Fla., transitioned from this earthly life to live forever with her heavenly father – closed her loving eyes and fell into eternal sleep on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Except for the four years she lived in Broward County, Moniqueca was a lifelong resident of Palm Beach County.
Celebration of life services, with COVID-19 restrictions, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021, in the sanctuary of Church of the Palms Congregational United Church of Christ, 1960 N. Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach, Fla. A public viewing and visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 in the sanctuary of Church of the Palms Congregational United Church of Christ, Delray Beach, Fla.
Moniqueca was affectionately called “Mo” by everyone except for her Granddaddy Wilbert “Billy” Moore, whose special name for her was “Ballerina”. She was an earnest believer in celebrating life itself. As a result, she left a lasting impression with those whose lives she impacted. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, loving embrace, unconditional love and for the quality time spent with her family.
Having received her degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Florida Career College, Moniqueca believed education was not an option. She valued its importance and constantly challenged herself and others to learn new concepts to ultimately be elevated in life.
A loving and compassionate person, Moniqueca loved to spend time with the elderly. For this reason, she volunteered at Regents Park Nursing & Rehabilitation, in Boca Raton, Fla. These residents were like her extended family members and their well-being meant the world to her.
Moniqueca had a longstanding relationship with the Lord, joining Harvest Time Deliverance & Fellowship Center, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She confessed Christ and was baptized by faith and kept Him as the center of her joy. She honored him daily by serving Him with gladness until the end of her life.
Although hearts are heavy, loved ones can be assured that Moniqueca is safe in the arms of God. “I am at peace; my soul is at rest. There is no need for tears for your heart. I was so blessed for all these years”. May this knowledge bring the comfort and peace that is needed to heal.
Forever loving and cherishing her beautiful memory are her loving children: Zathuan Moore, Cedric Brady, Kamari Smith, Zahria Moore, and Kennedy Smith, all of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; stepchildren: Daisha Smith and Kenneth Smith, III; special companion, Kenneth “Junior” Smith, II of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; supportive parents, Gloria Moore and Dwayne Blunt, both of Delray Beach, Fla.; caring siblings: Karl (Latoya) Webb of Lantana, Fla. and Ebony Webb of Delray Beach, Fla.; a host of grief-stricken aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other sorrowing relatives and loving friends.
Final care and compassionate services are being provided to the Webb-Moore family, with love, care and uncompromising dignity, by the Hall-Moore Funeral Directors at Tillman Funeral Home of Madison (850) 973-6677, Jamarien "JP" Moore, Owner/Funeral Director/Notary Public.
