On Friday night, May 6, enjoy all that downtown Madison has to offer with extended hours shopping, dinner and a movie! The Main Street Playhouse, located at 172 SW Range Ave., is proud to present Casablanca, beginning at 8 pm. Doors will open at 7:30 pm.
Casablanca, an American classic film, had its world premiere in New York City in 1942. Eventually, the film won three academy awards and has been hailed as one of the greatest films in history. Set during World War II, leading actors Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman have been remembered for their memorable roles and became Hollywood icons.
The Main Street Playhouse opened last fall in downtown Madison and offers seating for 100 with a stage, a 12-foot movie screen and modern technical equipment. Classic movies will be shown on the first Friday of each month and live productions by the RATT pact are produced three times a year. The building is also available for rentals for meetings, showers, parties and other special events.
Admission for movie night is $10 and includes popcorn and one beverage. Receive a $1 discount on all tickets purchased by noon on Friday.
