National scouting organization announces its name change

Kenzie James news@greenepublishing.com A national youth scouting organization announced on May 7 that they are changing their name to reflect their increasing inclusivity. The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) changed to Scouting America and said in the news release that the name will go into effect on February 8, 2025, the organization's 115th anniversary. Scouting America released this announcement in the five-year anniversary of welcoming girls into Cub Scouts and scouting programs.  â
