I admit to being somewhat obsessed by the war in Southeast Asia. It was a defining part of my early life. I lost a lot of friends there. Many more Vietnamese suffered and died, but eventually, they were victorious in reuniting Vietnam and outing foreign influence – first the Japanese, then the French and finally the Americans.
