Neither rain or snow slows the MPD
During the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 22, when most of us were bundled up in our warm beds, Madison Police Officer Mykayla Ware was patrolling the streets during the freezing temperatures and historic winter storm that delivered a healthy dose of rain, sleet and snow to our community. Fortunately for Ware, the deserted streets were the perfect place to enjoy the rare event which dropped the most snow we’ve enjoyed since 1989. [Mykayla Ware/Courtesy]
