If you missed the recent solar eclipse, don’t fret. There will be an opportunity to see another in 2045, and Madison will then be in the path of totality, meaning the moon will fully block the sun.
According to astronomers, North Florida will experience totality on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2045, as the solar eclipse crosses the United States from west to southeast. The maximum view in Florida will be at Destin, at 12:19 p.m. that Saturday.
