No name change for Central School

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com During a workshop meeting of the Madison County District School Board on Monday, Feb. 24, the board heard reports from a pair of committees working with issues related to the upcoming school consolidation. One of the committees had to do with “rebranding.” The idea of changing the name of Madison County Central School (MCCS), along with the school’s mascot, was floated. This idea prompted immediate pushback from many in the community, who expr
