The Tuesday, September 19 Business After Hours was held last week at Norris Café, located at 140 SW Range St, in Madison.
Friends, community leaders, business owners/employees, chamber members and other local citizens all gathered together to enjoy good food, good fun and good fellowship. Hors d’oeuvres of meatballs, ham sandwiches, and nacho chips with cheese were served to all guests, along with lemonade, tea, and water.
Norris Café is owned and operated by Chris and Amanda Norris. Chris and Amanda moved back to Madison in order to re-open the family business (originally Norris Pharmacy) only this time as Norris Café. The restaurant offers many of the same menu items as they did ten years ago, including their fresh pumped Cherry and Vanilla Cokes, home-made Chicken Salad, Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwiches, Cheeseburgers, Milkshakes and Coke Floats.
Norris Café is open Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are closed on Sunday. They also offer sandwich platters and food trays upon request. Be sure to stop in anytime and try some of their delicious food!
The next Business After Hours will be held at The Country Store on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and socialize with friends while enjoying delicious finger foods and drinks. The Country Store is located at 256 SW Range St., in downtown Madison.
The Madison County Chamber of Commerce sponsors the monthly Business After Hours events, in hopes to help promote and ensure the advancement of the local community, via a pro-business climate. They are held on the third Tuesday of each month at the office location of a Chamber member.
So, mark your calendar for Tuesday, Oct. 17 and be sure to join your friends and neighbors at The Country Store from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given.
“Business After Hours” events are free and open to the public, especially Chamber members.
