A brand new team of youngsters, aged nine and under, began playing baseball together in August of this year and had tremendous success in their first year. The team, named the North Florida Ballhogz, consists of kids from Madison and Perry. They played in four tournaments during the fall and came in either first place or second place in three of them. In one tournament, they played in the 10 and under age category and placed second. “We had a great fall season, [I] couldn't be prouder of these boys. [We are] looking forward to the spring season,” said Head Coach Bill Murphy.
