North Florida College invites the community to help celebrate the opening of its new location in Perry. The new location officially opened at 319 N Byron Butler Pkwy. on Thursday, June 1 and a grand opening celebration and open house is scheduled for Thursday, July 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the Taylor County Chamber of Commerce will help welcome the new location to Perry with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m.
As part of the celebration, when potential students apply for NFC at the Perry Location during the months of June and July, they will be eligible to win scholarships. All scholarships awarded as part of the opening celebration must be used within one year of the drawing. During the open house on Thursday, July 13, guests and potential students attending will also have the opportunity to win door prizes.
Summer hours for the North Florida College Perry location are Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. All are invited to stop in and find out more about the college, classes offered in Perry, and how to get started with enrollment, financial aid and registering for classes.
North Florida College courses offered in Perry this fall include Emergency Medical Technician I, Freshman English I, Introductory College Statistics, Human Growth and Development, Introduction to Humanities, Fundamentals of Speech, and a FREE Strategies in Student Success class. Coming soon to the NFC Perry location is our new HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) program.
As an extra bonus, the $20 NFC admission application fee will be waived for anyone completing a paper application for admission in Perry from June through July.
