On Saturday, Nov. 12, North Florida Pharmacy sponsored their first annual “Operation Thank a Hero” event. This event was orchestrated to show their deep appreciation for local first responders and for the sacrifices they make every day.
They had an event filled day with fun activities for both kids and adults, several door prizes donated by local businesses and free food. It was a time of fellowship between members of law enforcement, EMS, fire departments and dispatch. In total they had around 150 people to show up, including workers and volunteers.
North Florida Pharmacy plans to sponsor more events like this one, due the impressive turnout and support from local businesses and members of the Madison County community.
