Senior Citizens Council of Madison County, Inc. hosts numerous activities for the residents of Madison to enjoy. The fitness room and the computer lab are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Arts and crafts open at 10 a.m. Senior dining begins everyday at 11:45 a.m. On Thursday, Nov. 12, there will be Word Study at 10:30 a.m. and Caregiver Support Group at 1:30 p.m. On Friday, Nov. 13, there will be a Humana Presentation with Bill Eichoefer from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Bingo at 10:30 a.m. On Monday, Nov. 16, there will be Tai Chi with Bob Downey at 10:30 a.m. On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Dr. Crump, Podiatrist will be there at 8 a.m. for appointments, Word Study at 10:30 a.m. and Computer Class with Gianni at 12:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Nov. 18, there will be an Elder Issues Presentation by Academy of Florida Elder Law. On Thursday, Nov. 19, there will be Word Study at 10:30 a.m. On Friday, Nov. 20, there will be Bingo at 10:30 a.m. On Monday, Nov. 23, there will be Tai Chi with Bob Downey at 10:30 a.m.
On Tuesday, Nov. 24, there will be Word Study at 10:30 a.m. and Computer Class with Gianni at 12:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Nov. 25, Ken Methvin, Optician will be there at 10:30 a.m. to clean and adjust glasses and the Birthday Luncheon/Thanksgiving Celebration will begin at 11:45 a.m. The Senior Center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving. On Monday, Nov. 30, there will be Tai Chi with Bob Downey at 10:30 a.m. The Senior Center is located at 1162 SW Harvey Greene Drive, Madison, Fl. 32340 and is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Transportation is provided Monday-Friday for recreational activities at the Senior Center.
