Elizabeth “BJ” Bailey, 70, of Ray City, Ga. passed away on Monday, May 18, at her residence. She was born on June 27, 1944 in Patterson, N.J., to Frank and Jean (Kozkowski) Tyburski. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church of God. She loved gardening, fishing and spending time with her precious grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wallace Bailey and a brother, Joseph Tyburski. Her survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Reena Bailey of Valdosta, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn “Sissy” and Bob Waltz of Ray City, Ga.; step-son, Rusty Bailey of Ray City, Ga.; step-daughter, Pam DuPont of Jacksonville, Fl.; grandchildren: Amanda Bailey, Julie Bailey, Lindsey Bailey, Blane “Waltz” Stone, Savannah Bailey and Brock Bailey; great-grandchildren: Harper Lynn Warzynski, Destiny Bailey, Serenity Bailey, Kaleb and Sophia Johnson and Isaiah Teegan; and sister, Mary Ann Benio of Deland, Fl. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 22, at Abundant Life Church of God with burial to follow at 2:30 p.m., in the Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Fl. The family received friends on Thursday, May 21, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Music Funeral Services in Valdosta, Ga. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
