If the courts would get out of the way, the Big Bend congressional district would survive. Right now, the courts seem to think that an historical community such as the Big Bend should not be qualified to have their own congressional district.
What is a congressional district? A congressional district consists of two things: an adequate population and boundary lines, drawn and approved by the state legislature. On both counts, the Big Bend community intere
