A New York City nonprofit group, flush with millions in private capital, is piloting a first-of-its-kind savings program to help Harlem children with a $10,000 foundational fund for their economic start.
The Harlem Children’s Zone, an anti-poverty fund, told the Friday, May 10 edition of the New York Times (12a), that it was raising $300 million for an initiative called “Wealth Builds” that will start in Upper Manhattan, where the group operates, and
