Nelson A. Pryor: Guest Columnist Well, we have just finished the Presidential primary. And in August, we have the primary for state, county and local offices to deal with. And, then, the big election itself, in November. Since 2000 Only beginning with 1964, the Republican Presidential candidate could stand a chance to carry the county. That year, it was Barry Goldwater, who carried Madison County that broke the tradition. Heretofore, the “Yellow Dog” Democrats always carried the cou
