Passing Parade: Our 1773 Tea Party

On Dec. 16, 1773, the most revered and celebrated Tea Parties of all time, occurred. That Tea Party has been celebrated, and reenacted, in Boston, Mass., for a long time. A group of costumed “Indians” will storm aboard three replicas of 18th-century wooden trading ships which will serve as a stage for the dumping of nearly 92,000 pounds of tea into the harbor. In current time, the tea would be valued at $1.5 million to $1.8 million, the anniversary’s plann
