Pinetta Elementary School teacher honored

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com Bobbi Pinkard, a kindergarten teacher at Pinetta Elementary School (PES), was recently honored by the area Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), which represents Madison, Jefferson and Leon Counties as their Teacher of the Year. This honor comes in addition to the Madison County School District Teacher of the Year award she received in 2023. The award was announced during a presentation by the VFW on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
