Pink Ladies plan spring fashion show

The Madison County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, otherwise known as The Pink Ladies, met on Wednesday, Dec. 2 for their monthly meeting. The first item up for discussion was the Spring Fling fashion show fundraiser, which will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2016 at Divine Events. The boutiques around town will be showing off their styles at the fashion show; it is $25 for a ticket. All proceeds will benefit the hospital. There will be lunch catered by Divine Events as well. President Julia Waldrep announced that fundraising for last two months went very well, as the baskets raised $1,000 that will go to scholarship funding. The Pink Ladies all voted on new fundraising for next year, including a Valentine's Day fundraiser. The next Pink Ladies meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. in the MCMH conference room. Anyone interested in learning more may attend the meetings, which are held the last Wednesday of every month.
