Dear Editor,
My husband and I evacuated Cape Coral, Fl. and spent 6 nights in Madison at the Best Western Plus hotel by I-10. What a wonderful place, and the staff, from the maintenance man, maids, the breakfast lady & especially Willa, the general manager made us feel extremely welcome. Their handling of the storm in your area was professional & well prepared.
Also I want to thank the whole town of Madison for their friendliness, & helpfulness during this time. Ace Hardware, Winn Dixie, Denny’s & The Waffle House should all be proud of the way their employees handled a bad situation.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Town of Madison for your hospitality. Oh, also I don’t want to forget to thank Subway & FoodGiant.

Dear Editor,
My wife and I were traveling through your area on our way to Ft. Myers (where we’re in the process of moving) over the weekend, and we stopped in Madison to wait for the storm to pass.
I wanted to commend this town for their treatment of us, total strangers. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everywhere we have been in this town, the people have been nothing but helpful.
We just wanted to thank everyone for all they did for us. We were very impress with your little town.
You made us feel very comfortable. You should be very proud.
I want you to publish this in your paper, so everyone knows how much we appreciate your town.
Thank you.
~Marvin and Millie Diehl
