The anticipated, annual Pot Williams Golf Tournament will soon return for another year of food, fun and fellowship at Madison Golf & Country Club. Best of all, a new champion will don the coveted “maroon jacket,” earning his or her spot in a line-up of local golfing legends. The event is usually kicked-off in May, but due to the recent stay-at-home order, was postponed until Friday, June 12, through Sunday, June 14.
The event will begin with a PAR 3 tournament on Friday, June 12, with tee-off at 5 p.m. Entry is $20 and practice rounds cost $15. The Pot Williams individual tournament begins on Saturday, June 13, and lasts until Sunday, June 14. Tournament entry is $125 per person. A complimentary lunch will be served on both days. Guests will dine on delicacies prepared by the local Madison, Fla. eatery, C&D Bistro, on Saturday, and Perry, Fla. restaurant, Goodman's Barbecue, on Sunday. In addition to all the food and fun, there will be up to $5,000 of cash prizes!
Due to social distancing restrictions, the annual Pot Williams steak dinner and live music event will not be held this year.
