Madison native Tara Strickland will be leading a praise and worship event on Saturday, May 13. This event will be held at the Madison Coffee Co. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This is a free event however donations will be welcomed and all proceeds will go to Kaila Hardee and her family.
In July of 2022, Hardee was told she had a very aggressive cancer and was only given six months to live. However, when Hardee went back to the doctor for another scan in January of 2023, previous cancer spots on her liver were gone and also a previous spot in the muscle on her back did not appear on the scan. When the doctor told Hardee the medicine might be working, she responded back by saying, “No ma'am God is healing.”
Strickland will be doing live acoustic praise and worship Saturday afternoon at the Madison Coffee Co., located at 375 NE Marion St., in Madison.
Hardee is married to Tommy Hardee and together they have one son, Tuff.
