Emergency planning with your family should include your pets as well. Here are some tips to ensure that your family is prepared for a disaster: Make a Plan. When you make a plan, you are more likely to experience less difficulty, stress and worry when making a decision during the emergency. This should include having an evacuation plan for your pet(s
