
“Quick change” suspect sought

A suspect in an alleged “quick change” scam is being sought by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) in connection with two separate incidents in Madison County. One occurred at a Subway restaurant and another occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Family Dollar, in Lee.
According to Crime Stoppers, a “quick change” scam is an old tactic used to steal from businesses who may have an inexperienced cashier working at a cash register.
