RaShad Antonio James, 34, brought joy into the lives of his parents, Ronald J. James and Edith R. James (Pride) on July 10, 1988, the day he came into the world. He was a lifelong resident of Madison, Fla.
Celebration of life services, with COVID-19 restrictions, will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, in the sanctuary of Mt. Zion AME Church, 576 SW Dade Street, in Madison. Public viewing and visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, in the chapel of J.P. Moore Mortuary, 379 W. Base Street, in Madison, (850) 973-6677. “Here I am, here I stand, Lord my life is in your hands.” As his life on earth was fading, Rashad Antonio James retained a little smile on his face which indicated to his family that it was well with his soul. He then answered the Master’s call with “I give myself away” and peacefully transitioned to his eternal home on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022.
RaShad Antonio James’ spiritual legacy will forever be embedded in the hearts of all who loved him, specifically his parents, Ronald J. James and Edith (Johnnie) Pride; brothers: Ontario Jerome James, Brian (ChaQuilla) McKnight and Nelson Rohne; sisters, Lisa (Michael) Cain and Keesha Porter; godmother, Anginett Alexander; god-sisters, Misty Alexander and Kenya Alexander; god-brothers, Jer-Michael Bradley and Slater (Tiana) Williams; together with many other sorrowing relatives and loving friends.
