Relay for Life of Madison is scheduled for Friday, April 29 at Madison County High School from 6 p.m. to midnight.
However, in order to make this event possible, Relay for Life of Madison needs local teams. Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around a track.
The theme for this year's Relay for Life is Dr. Seuss. Each team is required to choose a Dr. Seuss' book for their team site at the event.
As of right now, Relay for Life of Madison has only four teams.
There will be a team meeting on Monday, March 7 for anyone wanting to sign up their team or get more information. The meeting will be held at the North Florida Community College Student Center in Bldg. 9.
Participation is crucial into making this night a success, so gather up a team and contact Denis Bell, Relay for Life Event Lead-Chair at (850) 973-9481 if interested. Come take action against a disease that has taken too much!
