Ronald (Jim) Zink, 83, a 45-year resident of High Springs, Fla., a Sub Station 3 Supervisor (Fla. Power Corp.) passed away Friday, Feb. 28, as the result of a home accident. He was a member of the Elk Lodge in Madison. Zink was a Military Veteran, having served in the U.S. Marines. He was a very patriotic man who loved his Country and his family and his Savior Jesus Christ.
He was survived by one daughter, Anganinnie (Paul) Yatsko, Chiefland; one son, Charles (Wyche) Zink, High Springs; Grandchildren: Amanda and Charlie Zink, Charlie, Lauren, Austin and Gage.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Evans-Carter Funeral Home, 220 High Springs Main St., High Springs, Fla., 32643. Services will be held Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at Graveside Cherry Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery, 260 NW Settlement Rd., Madison, Fla.
