The Madison Rotary Club will be hosting their annual Chili Dinner Fundraiser on Thursday, March 18, at the Villa Maria Social Hall of the St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, located on Orange St., across from Beggs Funeral Home. Serving begins at 5 p.m. and lasts until 6:30 p.m. There will be at least 12 different varieties offered. Some of the more popular varieties go quickly, so don't wait too long. The price is $10 for either eat-in or take out. Masks are encouraged, but not required. Social distancing is also encouraged.
Funds raised during the Chili Dinner Fundraiser will be used to help the various local charities the Madison Rotary Club supports. In the past, the Madison Rotary Club has helped local school programs, ramps for local citizens with mobility challenges, and many more. The local club has also partnered with Rotary International to help eradicate diseases such as polio, help provide clean drinking water and other programs. The Madison Rotary Club consistently puts into practice the Rotary motto: “Service above self; he who serves best, profits most.”
The Madison Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 12 p.m., in the Villa Maria Social Hall at the St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, in Madison.
