One of the most anticipated events of the season is coming in late October. The Madison Rotary Club will be holding their annual Prime Rib Dinner fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available now from any Rotary Club member. Tickets are $30 each and includes prime rib, baked potato, tossed salad, desert and beverage. The event will be held at the Villa Maria Hall at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, in Madison. Dine-in is available, but take-out is encouraged.
Proceeds will be used to help fund the many community service projects undertaken by the local Rotary Club. Some of those projects have included: funding for wheelchair ramps for needy citizens, polio eradication and clean water projects around the world, the Southern Scholarship Foundation, Take Stock in Children, helping to provide uniforms for the local high school band and many others.
The Madison Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 12 p.m. in the Villa Maria Hall at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, across from Beggs Funeral Home, in Madison. For additional information about the Madison Rotary Club or for tickets, you may contact Jim Catron, Secretary, at Catronj@aol.com or call (850) 673-8201.
