Ruby Inez Karns Lytle departed this life on December 12, 2014 after a short illness. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Lytle was born in Auburndale, Fl. on February 23, 1923 and resided in Bradenton and Orlando for most of her life. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Science degree in 1945. She moved to Madison in 2003 and she was an active member of Rocky Spring United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Parish United Methodist Women. She also volunteered at The Olde Book Store. Mrs. Lytle was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Lytle. She is survived by two sisters: June K. Adair (Robert), of Lake Hamilton and Mae K. Irby (Lester), of Madison; and two brothers: Phillip J. Karns (Lucille), of Boca Raton and Dane L. Karns, of Le High Acres. Mrs. Lytle was buried beside her husband after a brief internment ceremony in Orlando. Reverend Michael Halley of Greenville officiated. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 14 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Springs UMC. Friends are invited to attend. Directions to Rocky Springs: From Madison, go north on Hwy. 53 (Washington St.) to Rocky Springs Church Road. Turn right. The church is about ¼ mile on right.
