Sammy Jackson Harry, age 60, of Cherry Lake, Fla., passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2020 at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Fla., after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Sammy was born to Hopson and Corine Nobles Harry on June 28, 1960 in Live Oak, Fla. He was a long time skidder operator for Gray Logging, LLC and former employee of Dixie Packers, Inc., Tim Blanton Logging and Cherry Farms.
Sammy is preceded in death by his parents; several aunts and uncles; nephew, Steven Nobles; and father-in -law, Jack Hood.
Sammy loved anything to do with being outdoors.
Sammy is survived by his wife, Dianna Harry; one son, Hopson Sammy Harry; twin daughters: Mary Elizabeth Harry and Morgan Corine Harry; one brother, Earl Harry (Brenda); two sisters: Louise Adams (Shelton) and Doris Foskey; and several nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
ICS Cremation and Funeral Home in Lake City, Fla. was in charge of cremation.
