Early in life, Sandra was given the nickname, “Sandy Gee,” a name that she would become known by throughout life. Sandy Gee attended the public schools of Madison County. She later worked for a brief time at Pilgrim’s Pride. Sandra was one who enjoyed life and never met a stranger, for she left a lasting impression with everyone she encountered. She loved to laugh and kept others doing the same. Sandra loved her family, but she held an extra special place in her heart specifically for her grandchildren. Most of all, she loved the Lord and attended New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Greenville.
Forever cherishing her life, legacy and love are her daughters: Racheal Gee of Fresco, Calif. and Terri Gee of Madison; sons: Robert Hiers and Ezekiel Gee, both of Madison; father, Thomas Gee, Sr.; grandchildren: Zytavious G. Washington, Hollie Singleton and Hailey Singleton, all of Madison; sisters: Patricia Brinson, Perciilla Brinson, Sheri Kennedy and Verlisha Gee; brothers: Thomas Gee, Jr., Quentin Gee, Tambora Gee, Laqwanza Gee, Kimuel Gaines, Terry Gaines and Marcus Thompkins; along with numerous other loving relatives and sorrowing friends.
